WE ARE BACK! BACK TO BLOGGING AND ALSO FROM EUROPE!

Hello Everyone! Sorry for our long absence but we have been super busy in the past couple of months. Izzy has been working hard on his music and I have been working extra hard on upcoming blog posts, ideas, and planning on doing videos in the future. But also, the Mr. and I took a trip recently, with our four friends, to Amsterdam, Paris, and London! It was two weeks long and it was the most amazing trip of our lives. We probably drank more than we should have seeing as I don't remember some nights, but it was truly an eye-opening experience. The fashion overseas, especially in London, is absolutely incredible, the food is amazing, and the culture and the art is absolutely gorgeous.

Amsterdam is so beautiful with it's old, Victorian-style houses. Mode of transportation is either bus or tram, but if you are a local, bicycle is the way to go (and if you are a tourist, beware of the bike lane because you will get run over). Of course we had to pop into coffee shops while we were there. It's nuts how the cannabis culture is so organized but carefree over there. Last, the food there is probably the best we've ever had (I HIGHLY recommend Lombardo's for an amazing burger)

France is absolutely lovely with its cuisine, paintings, and architecture. Paris is such an amazing city and should be traveled by day and by night. Parisian food is a bit pricey but well worth the cost considering everything tastes heavenly. The only downside to Paris is that the locals are very rude to Americans and the smells of the city streets are not the best (it smells like pee in the subway!AH!)

London will forever be mine and Izzy's favorite city. Everything about London just makes me fall in love. The one thing that is quite annoying about London is that the urge to shop is EVERYWHERE! Oxford Street, Carnaby Street, Regent Street, all of them! If you have a problem with pocket money, DON'T GO!

I have many, many more posts to come and I have a Summer Haul coming soon because we are going to Jamaica next month as well so look our for that. Izzy has a Summer Lookbook for men coming soon as well! We'll keep posting as much as possible and thank you guys for the overwhelming support! Love y'all!

TRENDS I'M LOVING SO FAR

HAPPY TUESDAY GUYS!

------------------------------------------

I hope you had a lovely Easter! I know that we have been M.I.A for the past couple of days but we have been super-duper busy! But these are the trends that I have been seeing over and over again so far in the new year , so I thought that I would tell you my three favorite trends, where to get them, and how to style them. And I actually bought these three items this past pay period (like the bloody addict I am) So I am going to go straight ahead with it!

The first item is PVC skirts. I think that Kim Kardashian and Alexa Chung  influenced this one a lot. But, yeah, I got mine on the MissGuided US website and it is still on sale! They have other bright colors on their websites, like a bright turquoise color. I wanted the pale pink color...but they sold out of it so bloody quick! But you can pair this with a neutral color crop top and a black pair of heels, or you can go with a white tee and put a little knot at the bottom and pair it with some white, minimal sneakers...LIKE OUR NEXT ITEM (Great Transition!)

The second item is the Adidas Superstars! These have been around before most of us were born but they finally came back around (like most fashion does). I've been seeing this absolutely everywhere, whether its American bloggers or British bloggers, this trend is universal. I bought mine from the Adidas website for two reasons. One, I have unfortunately large feet, I am a size 11 in women's! They had my size on the Adidas website so I went ahead and bought them. Reason two is that it was actually a lot cheaper on the website than on others, like Asos or Journey's. Ladies, if you wear like a 6 in women's, go to the kid's section! It's like 20 dollars cheaper and are the exact same shoe! You can pair these shoes with ripped, boyfriend jeans, a white tee, and a leather jacket (which I plan on doing) or you can pair them with the PVC skirt, a cropped tank top and a dark, duster coat.

The last item is a bucket bag. I've seen a couple of designer ones that I really wanted but they were way too expensive, but I was just browsing through the Zara website and the happened to have one in black and in a dark, navy color....for 26 dollars! I had to buy it right away and didn't think anything of it. I will definitely update you guys on the quality of the bag when I receive it later this week because it does sound too good to be true.

I will be posting more goodies this week so stay posted. Bye, Guys!

FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON IT!

Benefit Roller Lash

------------------------------

This product has been sold out forever! Yesterday, Izzy and I were doing our shopping
and I just popped into Ulta and the lady said "Oh yeah, we just got it a couple seconds ago"....WHAT! Its about 28 dollars, which is a little bit of an investment for mascara, but trust me it is worth it! I'm going to show, a little bit later, the compare and contrast of using this amazing mascara!

Easy Listening From This Week!

To Pimp A Butterfly - Kendrick Lamar
Mr. Wonderful - Action Bronson

--------------------------------------------

Even though Kendrick Lamar's album was leaked a couple of weeks prior to the album dropping,
Izzy and I decided to swerve the leak and wait until the drop this past Monday.
I feel like if you like an artist, musician, or even designer and everything that they stand for,
you would want to put money in their pocket because you support them wholeheartedly.
The album is an absolutely masterpiece! The title, I heard from a couple of blogs, is supposed to
be a play-on of "To Kill a Mockingbird"

The songs on the album are very racially charged and powerful. A lot of Izzy's friends and I
were having a discussion about it and they were saying how there isn't a centralized flow and it's
sort of all over the place and they really can't listening to it while you're rolling around in the car.
I feel like it isn't for that purpose. I feel like the album is for a purpose, like, you just got off of work, you're pissed at our white society, and it's time for deep-thinking and reflection type of purpose. I listened to it three times ( I know, overkill) to fully understand it. Overall I love it and so does my beloved. The only thing I didn't like, personally, that the song "i" wasn't the studio version; It was a live version instead.

Action Bronson's album was fantastic as well. It has a wonderful, jazzy feel to it with amazing lyricism. THIS is the album for when you are riding around with your homeboys, drinking a 40oz in South Florida. My favorite song is "Baby Blue" featuring Chance the Rapper. The chorus sent me and Izzy into a 2-day long argument because you would swear that Chance was singing the chorus, but it's actually Action singing the chorus! That was a nice, little surprise. This song is when you are going through it with your main chick/ main dude and you want to sing a sad but funny song all in one. Amazing work by Bam-Bam

March "Look-Good, Feel-Good" Haul

Lush Cosmetics "Mint Julip" Lip Scrub, "Kalamazoo" Beard and Face Wash, "Herbalism" Cleanser
Badger Man Care Mustache Wax
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
MAC Cosmetics Prep & Prime Lip, Satin Lipstick in "Photo"

-----------------------------------------------------

So Izzy and I decided to take a gamble at some products that were recommended to us. I have really desert-like skin due to my Eczema and Izzy has been on the endless quest for the perfect beard, so we gave these products a try and so far we love them!

If you suffer from really strange skin, like its crazy ashy or its disgustingly oily, you should definitely try the Herbalism Cleanser for pre-makeup prep. It really strips down your face of all the crap before putting on your foundation and concealer. Also, the Smashbox product is good for after you've cleansed and your pores have opened up. I really holds onto your foundation and makes if feel lighter.

The next product, I feel, gives you the most luscious lips ever! The lady in MAC kind of conned me into getting the Prep & Prime Lip Balm... I'm kind of happy she did because this thing is life! It literally fills in the cracks in your lips and grasps onto your lipstick. This is a MUST HAVE if you love to put on a matte finish lipstick but hate the chapped feeling of it.

The last products are for the manly men. Men are so strange when it comes to using a product religiously if it isn't deoderant, cologne, or soap. My beloved used the Kalamazoo wash from Lush and he said its amazing! First it smells like freaking pineapples! Yes! Secondly, it makes his facial hair so soft and wonderful. This is great for you guys who have loads of facial hair that feels like it can scrub plates clean. Izzy also used the Mustache Wax from Badger Man Care. He has that type of mustache hair that curls and grips onto his lip, so this was great for him to style it the way he wants.

Let us know if we should try anything else down below!
